3D concept render: kiosk design

What is Kiosk Design?

A kiosk is a compact, free-standing retail or promotional unit, usually placed in a mall concourse or public area. Kiosk design balances product display, storage, staff working space, power and the design rules of the mall within a small footprint.

Kiosk design begins with the mall’s guidelines and the footprint you have been allocated. We plan display, counter, storage, power and staff working space to the centimetre, then prepare the elevations and material boards in the format mall management requests. Because we also fabricate, the design is checked for buildability and durability before it is submitted.

What you get

  • Efficient footprint

Storage, display and service space planned to the centimetre.

  • Mall-ready drawings

Submissions prepared in the format mall teams request.

  • Digital integration

Screens, payment devices and lighting planned into the structure.

  • Roll-out ready

Designs can be repeated across locations.

How the project runs

  1. Brief

We confirm the event, space, objectives, brand guidelines and budget range.

  2. Concept and 3D design

Layout, visitor flow and branding are shown as 3D visuals for review.

  3. Technical drawings and approvals

Drawings are prepared and submitted to the organiser or venue.

  4. Fabrication

The stand is produced and pre-assembled in the workshop where possible.

  5. Installation

The team builds on site within the allocated build-up period.

  6. Show support and dismantling

We stay on call during the show, then dismantle and remove the stand.

Questions clients ask

Can you design retail stores and kiosks?

Yes. Alongside exhibition stands we design and build mall kiosks, retail interiors, shop-in-shop units, display stands and point-of-sale units, including the drawings and submissions that mall management teams typically ask for.

How long does exhibition stand fabrication take?

It depends on size and finish. As a planning guide, allow time for design and revisions, then organiser approval of the drawings, then workshop production, then the build-up days the venue allocates. Larger double-deck or heavily customised stands need more lead time than modular systems. The safest approach is to brief your contractor as soon as your space is confirmed; late briefs are possible but reduce design options and raise cost.
