Moving a stand between a workshop and a venue, or between two countries, is a project in itself. These are the main points for exhibitors in the Gulf.
Within the UAE
Road transport between emirates is quick, but venue delivery slots and marshalling rules decide when a truck can unload. Plan deliveries to the organiser’s schedule, not the fastest route.
Within Saudi Arabia
Distances are large: Riyadh to Jeddah is around 950 km by road and Riyadh to Dammam around 400 km. Production elsewhere adds transit days and cost; local build teams and pre-assembly reduce risk.
Between the UAE and Saudi Arabia
Reusable stand elements can travel by road across the border with the correct paperwork. Allow time for customs and plan it with a forwarder who handles exhibition goods.
International exhibitors
Materials shipped from abroad arrive by sea at Jebel Ali or Jeddah Islamic Port, or by air. Temporary import procedures, such as ATA Carnet where applicable, and the organiser’s appointed freight forwarder simplify the process.
Storage between shows
Storing a stand locally between events avoids repeated shipping. Agree storage terms and condition checks with your contractor.
